The Outreach Team
Showcases our training and research programs in a wide variety of venues.
Educates children, families, teachers, workers, farm managers, researchers about occupational safety and health problems and
how to prevent injury and disease.
We learn about emerging concerns people have so we can develop new projects to address these concerns.
The team engaged approximately 309,000 people across 13 major events such as the National Farm Machinery Show and the National FFA Convention.
The “Danger Hidden in Plain Sight” campaign kicked off in October 2025.
Key partnerships include Kentucky Department of Agriculture (KDA), ARH Hospital, Dixie Firefighters, Kentucky Farm Bureau, KY HEARS, Kentucky School for the Deaf and Raising Hope KY.
